UPSC NDA NA Examination 2024: New Delhi, Oct 10 (PTI) The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) may release notification of 2025 National Defence Academy and Naval Academy (UPSC NDA, NA) examination between Oct 15 and Oct 21. The official notification regarding the NDA 2025 exam will be published at the official website of UPSC, upsc. gov.in.
The recruitment is expected to be for around 400 vacancies for the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA, for the 117th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) and the 155th Course.
As per the tentative calendar released by the commission, the notification will be available on December 11. The deadline is open from 11th Dec to 31st Dec. UPSC NDA, NA examination will be conducted on April 13 Candidates are advised to refer to the official exam notification to confirm the same as the dates are tentative. This schedule is also applicable for Combined Defence Services (CDS 1) examination, 2025.
UPSC NDA NA Examination 2024: How To Apply
- Applicants must visit the official website of UPSC, upsc. gov.in.
- For new applicants, tap on the ‘Apply Online’ tab followed by ‘One Time Registration (OTR) for Examinations of UPSC’.
- Now click on the new registration option and complete the process.
- After you finish, enter your account using the given credentials.
- Now choose the exam name for processing.
- For formal application, enter necessary academic and personal details in the application form.
- Fill in the details, scan and upload the documents, and pay the application fee.

NDA Admit Card 2025
On the official website, an NDA hall ticket is available in online mode. For downloading an NDA hall ticket, candidates are required to enter either their registration number or roll number. Admit cards for personality tests are not provided by UPSC. The candidates will not receive the admit card in a hard format through post. Exam centres will also have to present the printed copy of the admit card along with one photo-identity proof.
NDA Exam Pattern 2025
NDA exam pattern is categorised between written exam and SSB interview. There are written papers which have 02 papers such as Maths and GAT. Marks Allotted to the written exam-The written exam is of 200 marks. Individual sectional qualifying marks are 25 percent. Applicants must qualify the written exam for the SSB interview.
The SSB Interview is divided into two phases. Stage 1 consists of the OIR tests and Picture Perception and Description Test (PPDT). Stage 2 of SSB interview mainly consists of GTO tasks, Psychological tests and Conference. SB Interview and main aggregate maximum is 900 marks.
