IUCM/DBYA/2005
August 30,  2005

Dear Cultural Coordinator,

You are aware that Youth Affairs Division of  AIU is coordinating and promoting youth welfare activities amongst the nationwide   universities for long years. However, it is found that there is no common database available of the youth programmes which will help in  analyzing,   monitoring, promoting, conceptualizing and implementing youth programmes at the regional, national and international scale.
For this purpose, it has been proposed to  create  a  database of youth welfare activities of  Indian Universities which would help analyze the involvement of universities  in promotion of youth welfare at the regional and national level.  Accordingly, the Youth Affairs Division has designed a questionnaire to be circulated among all the Indian Universities/Institutes of National Importance and the concerned agencies.

Accordingly, you are requested to fill up the enclosed questionnaire entitled “Student’s Participation in Youth Welfare Activities Undertaken by Indian Universities” and send to us by October 30, 2005 for completion of the project in time. While filling up the questionnaire, you may use extra sheets if required. You may also download the questionnaire from our website www.aiuweb.org.  For any queries, please contact the undersigned by mail, phone or e-mail  kulshreshtharenu@yahoo.com
Your cooperation would be a major contribution to youth welfare studies and help in successfully completing this project.

With kind regards,
Sincerely Yours
(Ms.Renu Kulshreshtha)
